Zonal finals at Kolkatta
 
The Kolkata leg of the Tata Tea Jaago Re Soccer Stars tournament was held at the Howrah Municipal Stadium on the 6th and 7th of February 2010.

  The chief guest for the tournament was Edmilson( Former East Bengal and present Chirag United star) and he judged the skills contest and wowed the crowd with some dazzling skills of his own before watching the Final from the sidelines along with Head Scout Jamshid Nassiri and finally handing over the awards and trophies to the talented players and the finalists.

  During the 2 days of the tournament , there were a lot of enthusiastic boys, coaches, referees, officials, etc. taking part in various skill games. 2 boys were selected for their exceptional skills and get a chance to be part of the All-India skill camp in Shillong.

  Best Goal Keeper – Joy Dey, Nimta H.S.   Most Valuable player – Sohail Kazi, Bagnan H.S.  
     
  Joy Dey from Nimta High School was awarded the best Goalkeeper of the Kolkata leg.   Sohail Kazi representing Bagnan High School was recognized as Kolkata's most valuable player of the tournament.  
     
  Highest Goal Scorer - Monojit Bhowmick, Peardoba H.S. (taken on his behalf by his coach)  
   
  Monojit Bhowmick representing Peordobha High School was the highest goal scorer of the tournament.

  There were a lot of talented boys showing off their skills during the tournament, 4 boys stood apart from the rest and were selected for the All-India Finals in Shillong. The 3 boys are:
