The 2 finalists - Boy Sports Company ‘A’ and O.M.Roy Memorial ‘A’ with Chief Guest , A Mawlang – Director of Sports & Youth Affairs Meghalaya, Shillong and Chief Scout – Jamshid Nassiri.

  The zonal finals of Tata Tea Jaago Re Soccer Stars was held in Shillong on March 13th and 14th at Polo Grounds
     
  More than 32 teams participated in the tournament fighting to win the zonal finals
     
  O M Roy Memorial "A" wins over Boys Sports Company "A" 5-4 in penalties as both teams were tied 1-1 after regulation time.
     
  O M Roy Memorial "A" will now play in the national finals to be held in Kolkata mid this year.
     
 
   

The Selected 3 - Salvit Tongper – O.M. Roy Memorial School, Mathew W. Paksynliew – St.Johns School, Laban and Raplanc B. Syiem – Church of God.

Some of the players who came to lime light were
     
  Banpynlaplang Syniem of St.Peters School was recognized as Shillong's most valuable player
     
  Soophiwao Law of O.M.Memorial 'A' was declared the best goalkeeper
     
  Vijeiy Subha from Boy Sports Company 'A' came out as the highest goal scorer during the zonal matches.

  Salvit Tongper from O.M. Roy Memorial School, Mathew W. Paksynliew from St. Johns School, Laban and Raplanc B.Syiem from Church of God were selected for coaching by Arsenal coaches at Kolkata from Shillong.
     
  Jamshid Nassiri, Head Scout, observed the tournament for the most promising kid showing exceptional talent in the game
